Accessibility
We want everyone to be able to use Fusola, on the website and in the iPhone app. We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA.
What we do
- Text and its background meet WCAG's contrast ratios. Our color pairs are checked in code.
- Every button and link has a name a screen reader can read, in English, Chinese and Spanish.
- Anything you can do with a gesture also has a button. You can tap the Boop tube instead of shaking it, and turn the pages of a reading with the arrows at the bottom or the left and right arrow keys.
- Our public web pages go through an automated accessibility check (axe) with every change.
What isn't there yet
- Content shown as an image, such as share cards and the Five-Element name seal, doesn't have a full text description yet.
- We haven't yet tested every screen end to end with VoiceOver or with a screen reader on the web.
Tell us
If something on Fusola is hard to use, write to hello@fusola.co with "Accessibility" as the subject. Tell us which page, which device, and any assistive technology you use. We read every message and usually answer within two business days.
